James Michael Pedro

Born and raised in Georgia (Lived in Florida and the Virgin Islands).

I met my lovely wife in 3rd grade and I always knew I was going to marry her someday. Flash forward 30 years and the fun and craziness never stops.

I do not like all kids but the two that I have are amazing and I absolutely love every minute with them.

I grew up on a small farm and my children understand that hard work pays off and sometimes failure is the best way to succeed.

My family has been in Healthcare all my life and although I do not claim to know everything, I will make sure that you understand how your plan works and the best options for your care. The best part of any plan is the agent that comes along with it, well at least in this case. I look forward to being there for you!

Medical Personal Insurance

Traveling nurses and medical professionals require flexible and portable medical insurance. Options include travel medical insurance for emergencies, short-term health insurance for temporary coverage, professional liability insurance for malpractice protection, and telemedicine services for remote consultations. It's important for them to consider their specific needs and consult with a licensed insurance agent to find the best plan.

HMO

Health Maintenance Organization (HMO): HMO plans offer a network of healthcare providers and require members to select a primary care physician. They typically have lower out-of-pocket costs and require referrals for specialist visits.

POS

Point of Service (POS): POS plans combine elements of HMO and PPO plans, offering a network of healthcare providers and requiring members to select a primary care physician. They also allow members to see out-of-network providers at a higher cost.

PPO

Preferred Provider Organization (PPO): PPO plans offer a network of healthcare providers but also allow members to see out-of-network providers at a higher cost. They do not require a primary care physician and do not typically require referrals for specialist visits.

HDHP

High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP): HDHPs have higher deductibles and lower premiums, and are often paired with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to help cover out-of-pocket costs. They are designed to provide coverage for catastrophic events and preventive care.
